The Inclusive Preschool program at Memorial Elementary School is designed to meet the needs of preschool-aged children with disabilities. Children that demonstrate developmentally appropriate skills may be selected to participate as peers in the program

Students in our program participate in Music, Art, Physical Education and Library Media activities. We provide an opportunity for family involvement through family nights, events and conferences.

Instruction is driven by the Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards (CTELDS) and guidelines from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Daily Session times are:

AM 8:40 – 11:12

PM 12:38 – 3:10

Parents are responsible for transportation if their child is selected as a peer in Memorial’s Inclusive Preschool.

If you have concerns about your child’s development and would like to schedule a screening, please contact Kelly Caruso at 860-365-4028.
