Every year the Connecticut Association of Schools, honors two\r\noutstanding students of each of our elementary schools, who have excelled\r\nin the areas of visual or performing arts and who are also good citizens and collaborators\r\nwithin their school communities. This year Memorial School chose visual\r\nartist Ella Ploszay, and musician Alessia Vargas Mendez. Center School chose\r\nKayleigh Philbrick for Visual Arts and Brayden Flynn for Music. The students were recognized at the April 11th BOE meeting.
