On Friday December 23rd, all schools will be dismissing an hour earlier than the regular half day dismissal time, to ensure buses are not transporting students in case the temperature drops , and roads potentially get icy.
Jaelynn Ray and Syndey Vicino put in a great deal of effort along with the Panther Ambassador club to create posters and make ribbons for teachers and students in support of Mental Health Awareness Day, May 19th.

The Interact Club with support from the National Honor Society is having a bake sale fundraiser for Ukraine. East Hampton Rotary Club is coordinating this effort, and all proceeds will benefit humanitarian relief with the help of Rotary International and Rotary clubs in Ukraine and Russia. Please feel free to donate even if you don't feel the need for a delicious treat!

On Friday and Saturday March 4 and 5, EHMS Band student Kaitlynn Johnston and EHMS Chorus Students Ella Briggs and Grace Pekar performed in the annual Connecticut Music Educators Association (CMEA) Southern Region Middle School Music Festival.
The CMEA Southern Region Middle School music festival is an annual music festival held in March, featuring band, chorus, orchestra, and jazz band ensembles that rehearse, and then perform challenging songs that are conducted by a talented conductor. Music students from over 25 school districts are represented at the festival.
Students that participate in their school’s ensemble were invited to audition back in December. Kaitlynn, Ella, and Grace’s audition score results qualified them to participate in the festival.
Congratulations to Kaitlynn, Ella, and Grace!
There will be an early dismissal for the East Hampton Public Schools on Wednesday, March 9.
School is CLOSED on Friday, February 25 due to the wintery weather of snow, sleet, and ice.
